I’ve been working hard to get things together for this new year, and there is SO much still to do!
I have imported my old blogspot blog into this one, so all the old posts are still here! To view them, just scroll down to the bottom where it says “Archives” and pick a month/year. I just went back and read about 10 of my very first posts when I started blogging back in April of 2007, and I laughed and laughed at what was going on back then. I really should take time to journal what is going on in my family and with my kids more, like I did back in the beginning. It was so much fun to read about Ava calling me “Sucka” and writing with Sharpie on the couch. Looking at the pictures of MK going on a field trip, and graduating Kindergarten. I was announcing that we were pregnant with the baby that is now Cohen, almost 3. Now, Ava is in Kindergarten, not quite the handful that she was back then, and Maddie Kate just had one of the leads in the school play, and is only 5 inches shorter than I am!
Here is my sweet family now….

Time flies.
That is part of why I feel that what I do as a photographer is so important. I’m a memory capturer. A history documenter. A way to keep our memories and hold them close. That responsibility is huge, but it is one that I love, and I thank you, my clients, for making this a wonderful first 4 years of business for me, and I hope you will continue to come along with me on this journey!
